The Honourable Diane Ablonczy Applauds Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia on Annual Tourism Summit

OTTAWA, December 2, 2008 — The Honourable Diane Ablonczy, Minister of State (Small Business and Tourism), today issued the following statement:

"I would like to congratulate the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia (TIANS) on yet another successful summit. The important work of Atlantic tourism operators is truly helping shape the future of one of Canada's most internationally renowned industries."

"Canada's tourism industry is significant to the well-being of our economy. The Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games will bring travellers and world exposure to Canada.
