Manitoba Region

Welcome to the Manitoba Region of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC). This site contains information on the activities of the Department in our province. Although AANDC's mission and objectives are similar from region to region, the economic, social and cultural profile of our Aboriginal partners is diverse and worth learning about.

We invite you to visit First Nations in Manitoba. Manitoba has 63 First Nations, and each one is unique.

Find information on the communities, tribal councils and political organizations across the province. We also invite you to browse our Reference Materials for maps, publications and news, or learn more about Who We Are and What We Do.

In addition, we provide information on Indian Registration, Status and Status Cards.

Regional Operations will provide you with more information on the general day-to-day business of the Manitoba Region.
