Potential Education Reimbursement Funding Restriction - Fiscal Year 2013/2014

The Canadian Armed Forces Education Reimbursement program establishes and assigns responsibility for its administration to the Canadian Defence Academy. This program has been in effect since 2004 and provides an avenue for Canadian Armed Forces personnel to be reimbursed for educational opportunities in support of Canadian Armed Forces objectives.

Note that funding for these programs is not guaranteed.

While the Canadian Armed Forces Education Reimbursement programs have never guaranteed funding for Individual Learning Plans, funding in recent years has been available to fully reimburse members’ plan.

However, due to current departmental fiscal pressures, the funds available for Education Reimbursement may have been significantly reduced.

Contact your Personnel Selection Officer for more information.
