Conclusion

This Tutorial was intended to alert you to some of the ethical issues that need to be considered when conducting research with humans, as well as to clarify the ethical principles that are identified and discussed in the TCPS. We hope that you have found the Tutorial to be an effective resource to aid in learning about TCPS principles and their application. As the TCPS and the ethical conduct of research with humans continues to evolve over time, so will the Tutorial. Thus, we encourage you to visit the Interagency Advisory Panel on Research Ethics (PRE) web site for news of any Tutorial updates.

You are also encouraged to visit the Interagency Advisory Panel on Research Ethics (PRE) Web site Links page where you will find a variety of useful resources related to research ethics.

We invite you to fill out a Certificate of Completion which you may print out for your records. We also invite you to participate in an evaluation of the Tutorial by filling out a short questionnaire. This information will help us maintain a quality product.
