 | • | In 1999, Canada Investment and Savings launched its Kids Can Save youth promotion focused on helping young Canadians better understand the importance of saving. |
| • | The online savings initiative (www.kidscansave.gc.ca) reaches kids and their parents using media they understand and makes the topic of saving interesting, fun and interactive. |
| • | Since its introduction, the promotional initiative has earned several awards and accolades, including the 2003 PROMO! Award in association with YTV Canada for its youth promotion in the Category: Best Use of an Interactive Media, two RSVP Awards from the Canadian Marketing Association, a 2001 Golden Marble Promotion Award, and a 2001 International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Gold Quill Award of Merit. |
