4414 The regional stream survey for Bella Coola, B.C. (NTS 93D and 103A) was conducted during the summers of 1999 and 2001.

This report presents analytical and statistical data for 48 elements in stream sediments from 1 003 sample sites in 2001, and 94 sites in 1999, collected at an average density of one sample per 12.2 kmē. Loss-on-ignition in sediments, and uranium, fluoride, sulphate and pH values in waters from these sites are included in this report. In addition, 213 stream water samples were analyzed in 2001 for trace and major elements.

The 112 samples collected in 1999 from 94 sites in the Tweedsmuir Park and Fiordland-Kitlope Recreation Area were analysed with the samples from the 2001 survey.
