Light-Duty Vehicle Fuelling Demonstrations Working Group
The focus of this Working Group is on developing, demonstrating and evaluating two or more different fuelling systems for light-duty fuel cell vehicles. The Group solicits project proponents for the design, engineering, construction and monitoring of different combinations of fuelling systems, reviews proposals and submits the selected proposals to the Project Advisory Committee for evaluation. Special emphasis is placed on the development of a Canadian technology roadmap and action plan and on ensuring that distinctive Canadian aspects (such as cold climate issues, existing natural gas infrastructure, use of green electricity) are considered in prototype designs. The Group closely monitors approved projects for results achieved and coordinates its efforts with the extensive work on light-duty vehicles already underway in the U.S.
