Thompson Nickel Belt (TNB) Compilation Maps

This set of 15 preliminary compilation maps covers an area from Moak Lake (northeast of Thompson) to Cedar-Little Limestone lakes (west of Grand Rapids). These maps are the result of a six-year collaboration between the Manitoba Geological Survey and three major mining companies: Inco Limited, Falconbridge Limited and Hudson Bay Exploration & Development Company Limited. These maps represent preliminary results of the compilation effort and will ultimately be superseded by the final maps.

The following illustration indicates the regions covered by the TNB maps.
