This is to advise that Keltic Petrochemicals Inc. has made a change to its proposed Liquefied Natural Gas and Petrochemicals Facility Project at Goldboro. The proponent informed Nova Scotia Environment and Labour on June 16, 2006, that it now intends to exclude the construction of a 54 km 2 lane highway from the project.
Keltic Petrochemicals Inc. proposes to construct and operate a Petrochemical Complex supported by a Liquefied Natural Gas importation and vapourization facility and an electrical co-generation plant.
Public comments regarding the Environmental Assessment Report will be accepted until October 30, 2006 and will be made available at the Nova Scotia Environment and Labour Library.
