Aboriginal Arts Secretariat
In collaboration with the Aboriginal Arts Advisory Committee and with all sections of the Canada Council, the Aboriginal Arts Secretariat has the primary responsibility for developing policies, programs, strategic intiatives, and budgets to support Aboriginal Peoples artistic practices in all arts disciplines. The Aboriginal Peoples Collaborative Exchange: National and International grant program offers funding to Aboriginal groups and individuals for projects that involve the sharing, appreciation, understanding or awareness of traditional and / or contemporary knowledge and practice.
