CCC celebrates its 60th anniversary

This year marks CCC’s 60th anniversary following its creation as a Crown Corporation of the Government of Canada in 1946, in light of Canada’s postwar reconstruction efforts in Europe. Since then, it has consistently delivered excellence in international contracting and procurement services in defence and developing country markets.

CCC has proudly served Canadian exporters and foreign government buyers by facilitating trade through different mechanisms, such as the Canada-U.S. Defense Production Sharing Arrangement (DPSA), and working alongside international trade partners. It has done so by helping Canadian exporters access markets abroad and by helping foreign buyers obtain goods from Canada.

Looking ahead, CCC will continue to deliver on its mandate as Canada’s international contracting agency through excellence in international contracting and procurement.
