Christmas Day/New Years Day

Monday, December 25, 2006 (Christmas Day) and Monday January 1, 2007 (New Years Day) are Public Holidays.  For information about calculating Public Holiday pay, see Public HolidaysNote:  Boxing Day is not a designated public holiday under The Labour Standards Act.

 

Minimum Wage Increases on March 1st, 2006

From March 1, 2006 to February 28, 2007, the new minimum wage will be $7.55 per hour.

Minimum call-out will be $22.65.
