How does a caregiver access the Program All potential applicants for the live-in caregiver program must apply to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) at a Canadian visa post outside of Canada. This applies to applicants who are living:

What does it cost to apply
A processing fee is payable when the application for work permit is submitted. Currently, the feel is $150 Canadian. Methods and currencies of payment vary from country to country and are in large part dependent on local banking practices in the host countries.
