Eligibility and Maximum Amounts

Am I eligible for a FIMCLA loan?

  • Yes, if you are actively engaged in farming in Canada and you are a cooperative association.


What is the maximum amount I can borrow?

  • Up to $3,000,000 for the purpose of processing, distribution or marketing the products of farming on a cooperative basis. Each member or shareholder of the cooperative has to be a farmer.
