Projects
 At DCC, we provide DND with a turnkey service when it comes to building and maintaining infrastructure.
We don't do the actual architectural, engineering, construction, or remediation work. Private industry does that. We use our contacts and our expertise to serve as intermediaries between consultants and contractors, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, our sole government client, the Department of National Defence.
We have been focussing on contracting, contract management, and project management support. And, specifically, there are three important ways that we add value to DND and to the Canadian public.
- We ensure the integrity of the tendering process.
- We devise sound contracts that protect the interests of both the Crown and the service providers.
- We work with the client, consultants, and contractors to deliver, on time and within budget, projects that meet the contract requirements.
 As you can imagine, being an "intermediary" at DCC doesn't mean that all of our people have desk jobs. Over two thirds of our staff is out in the field, working with the latest concepts in civil and environmental engineering.
