Pension policy is a work in progress. The proposed changes cannot be considered final until they have received Treasury Board's approval.
Welcome to the Canadian Forces Pension Modernization Project (CFPMP) website
This site provides up-to-date information on the proposed:
- changes to the current pension plan, and
- provisions of the new pension plan for members of the Reserve Force.
The proposed changes to the CFSA will apply to all members of the Canadian Forces.
- If you are a member of the Regular Force, the amended provisions of CFSA Part I will apply to you.
- If you are a member of the Reserve Force who is working full-time with the military, the CFSA Part I will become your new pension plan.
- If you are a member of the Reserve Force who works part-time with the military, the new provisions in the CFSA Part I.1 will apply to you.
- Read a brief overview of the Project.
What's New?
The coming into force of the Reserve Force Pension Plan and the modernization changes to the current pension plan, as well as changes to the Reserve Force Retirement Gratuity, are now targetted for March 2007. For more information, please contact your administrative personnel to obtain:
