A wide river, some 30 islands covered in luxurious forests, swamps and bayous… find it all in Laval, just outside of Montréal, at the Parc de la rivière des Mille-Îles. The Cosmodôme is a complex dedicated entirely to conquering space. In the science centre, you can take a trip through our solar system, touch a real Saturn V rocket engine and admire a piece of lunar rock. The Musée Armand-Frappier, named after a pioneer of scientific research, is dedicated exclusively to biosciences. At the Centrale de la Rivière-des-Prairies, you can see up close the turbines and spillways used for producing electricity.
