Heroes Remember
Veterans Affairs Canada has recorded almost 1,600 hours of video and audio conversations with approximately 75 veterans of the First World War and another 675 Second World War and Korea veterans. These interviews offer rare and personal memories of those individuals who lived the experience, first-hand. Each interview has a story attached and makes up a bigger picture. Now, VAC presents them to you so you can try to understand what these valiant men and women experienced and so that their stories live on forever.
