Lovers of Canadian photography get Carte Blanche

Widely considered one of the top commercial and editorial photographers under 30, Toronto resident Mark Zibert takes the measure here of Marc Thuet, the bad boy chef. The image neither undercuts nor compliments Thuet’s notoriously rakish persona. “We shot it on the construction site of what would be his latest restaurant,” Zibert says. “I made him smoke a cigarette; I told him to pick up a loose piece of Plexiglas lying there.”
