The Business & Financial Services Bureau (B.& F.S.B.) plays an integral role throughout the O.P.P. and Ministry. Broadly stated, the Bureau provides financial planning, business planning, fleet, uniform and equipment, and records management services to the O.P.P. and, in part, to the Ministry. Supporting a new Provincial Command, Corporate Services, this Bureau will deliver core transactional corporate services to the O.P.P. The Bureau will focus on achieving customer service excellence supporting front-line service delivery. Its vision will be to develop, foster, and manage sector leading business practices.

The principles that the Bureau will operate under include:

• Anticipating and being accessible to the needs of the organization;
• Measuring outcomes and benchmarking itself against other organizations;
• Communicating effectively;
• Encouraging and supporting continued learning;
• Promoting personal accountability and ensuring individuals conduct themselves professionally and ethically; and
• Supporting each individual's high performance by recognizing his or her contribution to the bureau and the O.P.P
