RDC-Community Events Program

This document is based on information from the Regional Development Corporation Web site, February 2008.

The Program will provide support to local governments and non-profit community based organizations for initiatives such as festivals, national events and other community based special events.

Summary

The Regional Development Corporation was assigned the administration of the Community Events Program in 2000.

Grants for municipal anniversaries are also considered for 50th, 75th, 100th, etc. Anniversary dates are calculated from the official date of founding and based on $1.00 per inhabitant with a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $3,000.
