School Program

The Saskatchewan Farm Safety Program has been visiting rural schools since 1987 educating and increasing the awareness of farm safety practices amongst Saskatchewan’s youth. Presentations are specific to the grade levels K-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12, and are comprised of videos, slides and discussions on general farm hazard identification. The Teacher’s Farm Resource Kit contains resource information, activity ideas, Farm Safety Funbooks, and is available upon request to teachers in Saskatchewan.
