- An annual statute is an Act passed by the Legislature in a specific year. All of its provisions are shown as enacted, even if some or all of them are not yet in force or have since been amended or repealed.
- A consolidated statute is the version in force as of the date specified in the top right corner of the Act.
- Like the C.C.S.M. Acts, the municipal Acts and the private Acts are consolidated. Only the annual statutes are not.
