Ann MacKenzie
Chief Executive Officer

Ann MacKenzie is responsible for overseeing the administration and operations of the Corporation, implementing the Board's directions and setting and implementing policy. She is also responsible for the Corporation's marketing and communications activities and is the primary contact for all media requests.

John T. Smith
Director of Finance


John Smith is responsible for administering the Film Industry Tax Credit program and for the financial operations of the Corporation. He is also responsible for all exploitation reporting of the Corporation's investment files.

Linda Wood
Program Administrator


Linda Wood is responsible for administering the various loan, investment and sponsorship programs including the Development Loan, Equity Investment, New Media Equity Investment, CBC/NSFDC Bridge Award, Partnerships in Training, Sponsorship, Feature Film Distribution Assistance, Market and Festival Assistance and Professional Development Assistance.  She is responsible for analyzing and recommending all applications for financial assistance.

Jennifer MacIntyre
Locations Officer


Jennifer MacIntyre is responsible for promoting Nova Scotia as a shooting location, providing initial location research & production support and maintaining community relations. In addition, she is responsible for coordinating the Corporation's marketing and communication activities.

Abbi Hennigar
Communications & Locations Assistant


Abbi Hennigar provides support for marketing, production and communication activities of the Locations & Marketing Department, as well as coordinates all of the NSFDC's industry events.

Melissa Lunn
Finance Assistant

Melissa Lunn provides support for the administration of the Film Industry Tax Credit.


Office Administrator


Responsible for all administrative functions of the NSFDC and coordinates and supports communications activities, including maintaining the NSFDC's website.
