The physician names and specialties included in the Alberta Waitlist Registry are publicly available through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
A privacy impact assessment has been reviewed by the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.

The information in the Alberta Waitlist Registry comes from participating hospitals. The accuracy of the information in the Registry is entirely dependent on the data submitted by hospitals. Alberta Health and Wellness assumes no liability for the hospital information.
The wait time information submitted by hospitals to the registry comes directly from physicians.
