  • Farm Safety
     
    • Creating Safe Play Areas on Farms. Manitoba Healthy Living, Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives and Manitoba Labour and Immigration are working together on the Safe Play Area grant program. A Safe Play Area physically limits children's exposure to hazards on the farm. Under adult supervision children can safely experience the stimulation that play provides for growth within a safer environment.
  • Supplementary Information for Legislative Review 2006 - 2007 Departmental Expenditure Estimates. The Review provides supplementary information relating to the printed main estimates of Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives. The document provides Members of the Manitoba Legislative Assembly with the objectives, activities, and expected results related to each appropriation in the Department's proposed spending budget. General information about the Department's programs and services are also contained in these pages.
  • Canada–Manitoba Environmental Farm Plan Program. The Environmental Farm Plan Program is designed to encourage Manitoba agricultural producers to evaluate their operations, to develop environmental action plans and to adopt beneficial management practices (BMPs) that will contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment and that will enhance agricultural sustainability.
