March 3, 2005 – Britannia
Ground Breaking Ceremony. The Minister of Sustainable Resource
Management, the Honourable George Abbott, the Minister of
Small Business and Economic Development, the Honourable John
Les, and Dr. Steve Stanley of Britannia EPCOR Water Services
lead a contract signing and groundbreaking ceremony at Britannia
Beach to mark the ministry’s signing of a 21 year project
agreement for the design, build, finance and operation of
a new water treatment plant.
