Jaret's images from each stop mimic family vacation snaps. He paired his pictures of David against various historic backdrops with a correlating landscape or location image, shooting each from a slightly different angle. The frames are either empty of people or populated by subjects who were strangers to the brothers. Jaret took these “found images,” he says, during moments of instinctive recognition of each place’s historical significance.
