Technologies and Materials for the Biomedical Sector

Technology property of Biorthex Inc., a partner of IMI.The Montreal region is home to a high concentration of companies and research organizations working in the health sector.  The Industrial materials Institute at its Boucherville location, is well placed to complement this hub of activity with expertise in formulation, behaviour, modelling and processing of biomaterials.  By leveraging technologies and materials developed for industrial applications, IMI can efficiently support the biomedical sector.  In particular, the technologies include:
