    2006 Core Marketing Campaign

    There really are no accidents
It was an accident. That's what people usually say after something's gone wrong. But at the WSIB, we're out to dispel the myth that workplace accidents actually exist. In fact, we believe that all 'accidents' are preventable.

A safe workplace is every worker's right. It's the employer's responsibility to provide proper training. It's everyone's responsibility to take it seriously.

But when an unsafe situation occurs – and they happen all too often – somebody will probably call it an 'accident'. At the WSIB, we believe that the sooner everyone realizes workplace 'accidents' are preventable, the safer we'll all be.

With this new major social marketing campaign, we're out to change the way people think. Why? Because we want Ontario to have the safest workplaces in the world.
