The Data Stores List, presented in a hierarchical tree view, displays all the spatial data available on the DAP server. To expand or collapse a branch of the tree, click the branch node. The Data Stores Tools, located just above the Data Stores List, enables you to configure the Data Stores List to display all the available data layers, or only the layers that overlap your current Main Map View.

Selecting a data layer

When a data layer in the Data Stores List is available to add to your map composition, the data layer name will be displayed as a hyperlink.

When you select a data layer in the Data Stores List, it will be added to the top of the list in the Layer Manager and will be displayed in the Main Map View.

Getting information about data layers (queries)

If there is any information (metadata) associated with a data layer, a small blue icon "" will be displayed beside the layer name.

When you select an information icon the data layer will be queried and a new pop-up window will be displayed containing the selected data layer information.
