Previous (Extract Layers)Index (Help for GDR DAP application)Next (Map Projection Tool)

The Extraction Parameters are provided to enable you to control of the extraction process. The displayed parameters are always related to the selected layer. To download the selected layer, click the OK icon button.

Format

The Format option lists all the data formats available for the selected layer.

Projection

The extracted layer will be in the Projection set in the projection parameter. You can set a different projection by clicking on the Map Projection Tool Map projection tool icon beside the projection text field.

Resolution

The Resolution parameter applies only for Raster layers. It is not used for Vector layers. The Resolution represents the size of one pixel in the projection unit. For example if the projection set is Lat/Long, a resolution value of 0.01 indicates that each pixel has a precision of 0.01 degree.

Width and Height

The Width and Height parameters are applied only for Raster layers. It is not used for Vector layers. It represents the size of the image to be downloaded.

Note: The width and height values always keep the same ratio. (It is the same ratio as the map composition)

File Size estimate

The File Size Estimate parameter applies only for Raster layers. It is not used for Vector layers. It represents an approximate size in Megabytes of the extracted layer.
