ICT Architecture

Information Protection Centre (IPC) is responsible for protecting the Manitoba government computer networks. The IPC provides organized resources to address and safeguard Manitoba’s information and technology assets.

Information security is a top priority of the government. We are continually upgrading and improving our security systems to ensure that all information remains safe and protected from loss, improper disclosure of misuse. Nevertheless, we still strongly depend of every employee to follow appropriate security practices.

To help you understand your responsibilities, the government has developed an Information Security awareness program in order to teach employees how to protect information, detect signs of trouble, and react appropriately.
