Holy Clouds! Photograph 8" X 10" October 2002. I looked up during a photo shoot when my camera club was out one fall day. The whole sky was dark, save for one bright light coming from the clouds, that just happened to align with the old church cross. It makes for quite a gripping image. Taken on colour film, using a Yashica 35mm camera. Bluebird Fan Lamp Stained Glass, 8" X 10.5" 2000. One of my first stained glass sculptures. I started with a pattern, chose a variety of textures and colours of stained glass, cut out the pieces, grinded them smooth, copper foiled and soldered them together. A copper patina was later applied, to emphasize the outlines. A wooden base with a small frosted lightbulb provides illumination from behind, giving the piece a glowing effect when lit. Biography I enjoy creating art projects in many mediums, and posses a love of just about anything related to nature, science, and the visual arts. My other hobbies include candle-making, photography, computer graphics, painting, drawing, sketching, sculpting, viewing educational and nature programs, and enjoying sci-fi fantasy books and movies. I currently work at the Great Lakes Forestry Centre, as a Model Forest Program Assistant.
