CCWEST - Canadian Coalition of Women in Engineering, Science and Technology
CCWEST's mission statement:
CCWEST is a national coalition of groups that promotes women in science, technology, engineering and math, celebrates their contributions and applies new vision to these fields.

Digital Eve
Digital Eve Nova Scotia is part of the international Digital Eve organization, which encourages and empowers women and girls of all ages, education levels and interests in the new media and IT. Digital Eve Nova Scotia is committed to developing a province-wide networking technology community for women.

Institute for Women in Technology
The mission of IWT is :
To increase the impact of women on technology, in education, design, development, deployment and policy.
To increase the positive impact of technology on the lives of all women. To help communities, industry, education and governments accelerate and benefit from these increases.

Techsploration
The Techsploration program's overall goal is to increase the number of women working in trades, technology and related occupations. The Techsploration program provides an opportunity for young women from diverse backgrounds to explore careeer options in these fields - and it's fun, too!!

Webgrrls International
provides a forum for women in or interested in new media and technology to network, exchange job and business leads, form strategic alliances, mentor and teach, intern and learn the skills to help women succeed in an increasingly technical workplace and world. And there is a Nova Scotia chapter of Webgrrls,too!

Women in Information Technology (WinIT)
A project of WITT (Women in Trades and Technology) National Network, WinIT is a Canadian career resource site for women in information technology and for women and girls who want to explore careers in the field of IT.

Women in Science and Engineering (WISE)
Women in Science & Engineering/Femmes en Sciences & en Ingénie WISE/FSI is a Canadian network of individuals working together to promote and support women in science, engineering and related careers, and to act as an information resource to educators, employers and government. See the "Other Links" section of this website for lots of interesting sites on women and girls in science, engineering and technology.

WITT (Women in Trades and Technology) National Network
WITT National Network (WITT NN) is an education and advocacy organization dedicated to promoting and assisting in the recruitment, training and retention of women in trades, technology, operations and blue collar work (TTO/BCW) across Canada.

Women in Global Science and Technology (WIGSAT)
Women in Global Science and Technology supports global networking on critical issues in science and technology for development. This includes women's formal and nonformal science and technology practices around the world, for policy advocacy and action which promotes their S&T contributions to sustainable development. Many links here to UN sites, policy documents, and other sites of interest in the area of women's equality in the scientific and technical fields.
